PARK CLOSURES (JAN. 20-22): Due to the forecasted inclement weather, the following Park attractions will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, through Wednesday, Jan. 22: Hermann Park Railroad, Lott Family Carousel, pedal boats, HPC Gift Shop, McGovern Centennial Gardens, Japanese Garden, McWilliams Dog Park, Commons Play Areas, Commons restrooms & water fountains. An update will be provided on if closures are extended further into the week due to the weather.
IF YOU PLAN TO VISIT THE COMMONS: Please consider parking at the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza Garage (Winpark), located at 6400 Fannin Street, which is across the street from the Commons site. There is a daily fee to park in this garage on the weekend.

You can become a member of Hermann Park Conservancy to support our programs and receive great benefits including unlimited free train rides on the second Saturday of every month.
HPC members are a vital part of keeping Hermann Park looking good. Membership gifts support the Conservancy's stewardship efforts, like volunteer programs and maintenance initiatives. Members get great benefits too, like free train tickets, invitations to member exclusive events, and more!
Urban Green is a membership and events group within Hermann Park Conservancy, made up of young professionals in their 20s and 30s, dedicated to improving Hermann Park. Through a variety of events, Urban Green strives to inspire new generations of Park supporters while also being a great way for young professionals to get involoved, meet new people, and have fun in support of one of Houston's most beloved parks.
We are thrilled to announce that The Great Elephant Migration, an awe-inspiring outdoor art installation, will be making its way to Hermann Park in April 2025.
